After some careless play in the Kvium defense, Johannes Kirknel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thorleif Exendahl. The Kvium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thorleif Exendahl should have stopped the shot. Thorleif Exendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Kirknel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Kallenbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thorleif Exendahl having to interfere. Thorleif Exendahl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Kallenbach went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the match, Sandvad's Johannes Kirknel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thorleif Exendahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jørn Masel got free with Virgil Meftah in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

After a defensive mix-up in Kvium's zone, Johannes Kirknel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thorleif Exendahl came out of the goal and Johannes Kirknel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Johannes Kirknel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kvium booed when Sandvad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustinus Bonaparte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Edwardt Nelgast got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Johannes Kirknel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Thorleif Exendahl, passed just outside the right post. Johannes Kirknel struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Thorleif Exendahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandvad. After 72 played minutes, Sandvad's Askild Vørdhamar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thorleif Exendahl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sandvad reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Sandvad's zone, Jørn Masel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgil Meftah came out of the goal and Jørn Masel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Ronny Enetoft had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgil Meftah. Sandvad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronny Enetoft was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 80thth minute of the game Johannes Kirknel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kvium's Thorleif Exendahl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
