Tjennemarke AC's Jonathan Thielfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrad Stenholt in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Conrad Stenholt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Thielfeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Tjennemarke AC's goal looked a bit too open when Detlef Busborg came free, but Jonathan Thielfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Thielfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrad Stenholt in the 40th minute of play. When Søren Alrik fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tjennemarke AC's protests and gave Søren Alrik a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tjennemarke AC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Søren Alrik hit a great ball. Detlef Busborg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Thielfeldt having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Gehl to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Conrad Stenholt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Thielfeldt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The supporters of Ørup booed when Tjennemarke AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Søren Alrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Detlef Busborg sped through Tjennemarke AC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Thielfeldt. Bertil Weberg's late challenge caught a Tjennemarke AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertil Weberg helped the player get up and apologised. Bertil Weberg hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jonathan Thielfeldt made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Conrad Stenholt sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ørup getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ørup's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingvar Gehl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. 96 minutes into the match, Tjennemarke AC's goalkeeper Jonathan Thielfeldt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrad Stenholt. Ørup's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
