Valdemar Roi hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Nicolaj Wermus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Scholl was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Vaalse FC's Christian Scholl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wladimir Ingmer in the 13th minute of play. Kåre Widding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wagner Bangsholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute, Wagner Bangsholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sigvald Bashøj's late challenge caught a Vaalse FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sigvald Bashøj helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vaalse FC booed when Lillerød was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvald Bashøj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolaj Wermus struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Christian Scholl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lillerød. Christian Scholl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolaj Wermus's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Abraham Revald hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The Vaalse FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lillerød were winning 0-1.

Jochum Bukrin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kåre Widding. Lillerød's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 60 played minutes, Lillerød's Tonny Hending shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Scholl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lillerød reached it. After a rather tough play, Vaalse FC's Abraham Revald got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Nicolaj Wermus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Scholl. The goal made the score 0-2. 70 minutes into the match, Nicolaj Wermus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christian Scholl, 0-3. Kåre Widding showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isak Rinhart in the 78th minute of the match. Isak Rinhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Widding having to interfere. Ralph Strelander kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Wagner Bangsholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute Wagner Bangsholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Widding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isak Rinhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Widding having to interfere. The Lillerød players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
