Team Eilite FC were furious when Ib Kildelund was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Nicki Mariegaard's late challenge caught a Team Eilite FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caspar Linnedal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Mohamed Jarnsbøll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mejsling FV's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Jarnsbøll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubert Steengaard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Artur Stubbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kristof Dronninggaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Jarnsbøll couldn't finish the play.
