One of Mørkhøj AC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rovstrup FV:s goal. The referee gave Rovstrup FV a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pierre Taaensen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mørkhøj AC's Amadeus Reberholt. 0-1. Rudolf Amled's late challenge caught a Rovstrup FV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rudolf Amled helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Mørkhøj AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Amled to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Paul Buchvardt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mørkhøj AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rovstrup FV the free kick. In the 17th minute, Pierre Taaensen sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mørkhøj AC's Amadeus Reberholt didn't even have to move. Stefan Sæmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lynge Reinik having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Elmar Lundgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rovstrup FV and the Mørkhøj AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Rovstrup FV got a freekick which was hit by Elmar Lundgren. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Eckfeldt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lynge Reinik. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Runar Laxlov kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Mørkhøj AC's Frits Albrandt tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Amadeus Reberholt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Therkild Krejtoft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Therkild Krejtoft made a kick off. Paul Buchvardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lynge Reinik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Axel Eckfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Mørkhøj AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Eckfeldt couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute Stefan Sæmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lynge Reinik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lynge Reinik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Eckfeldt in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Sæmer in the 72nd minute of play forced Rovstrup FV's goalkeeper Lynge Reinik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Therkild Krejtoft received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amadeus Reberholt came out and tried to block the shot, but Therkild Krejtoft slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 80th minute. Walder Fenstrup hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Axel Eckfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mørkhøj AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Eckfeldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Mørkhøj AC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
