Væggerløse AC were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Roest's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricki Dambro took the corner. The corner ended in Ricki Dambro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Roest's Joachim Harbing did a great save. 8 minutes into the match, Ronald Boesing had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Knut Saksby. Væggerløse AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronald Boesing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ronald Boesing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Væggerløse AC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dick Kjeldsteen hit a great ball. Alan Blovsgaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joachim Harbing having to make a save. A hard shot 24 in the game by Ronald Boesing from a close distance when the talented Knut Saksby managed to make a qualified save. Væggerløse AC's players were relieved. In the 25th minute, Oscar Aastrøm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alan Blovsgaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Joachim Harbing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Alan Blovsgaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Harbing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Ronald Boesing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Knut Saksby was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Knut Saksby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frode Gaarn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alan Blovsgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oscar Aastrøm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Luis Tyrner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roest fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Oscar Aastrøm scored 3-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joachim Harbing, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
Alan Blovsgaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Oscar Aastrøm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Alan Blovsgaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Roest's goalkeeper Joachim Harbing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Blovsgaard. Oscar Aastrøm might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joachim Harbing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Aastrøm ran back to his position shaking his head. Alan Blovsgaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alan Blovsgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Harbing having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Dick Kjeldsteen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joachim Harbing. That made the score 3-2 in the 70 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Dick Kjeldsteen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Væggerløse AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Kjeldsteen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joachim Harbing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 79 minutes, Oscar Aastrøm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Væggerløse AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Aastrøm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Væggerløse AC's Dick Kjeldsteen got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dick Kjeldsteen came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Væggerløse AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dick Kjeldsteen couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Væggerløse AC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Oscar Aastrøm hit a great ball. Alan Blovsgaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joachim Harbing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Luis Tyrner's late challenge caught a Væggerløse AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Tyrner helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Væggerløse AC booed when Roest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Tyrner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boje Kruger hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Væggerløse AC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Roest had won, even though Væggerløse AC had held more of the ball.
