The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peer Raunkiær fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Rovang having to interfere. Hugo Rovang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eberhardt Sparup in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Stenderup FC's Hugo Rovang got control of the ball when Eberhardt Sparup tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Peer Raunkiær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Rovang was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaspar Kuby showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. Eberhardt Sparup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Peer Raunkiær came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Hundslund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peer Raunkiær couldn't finish the play. Eberhardt Sparup who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Hugo Rovang when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 47 minutes into the game, Aake Leidahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hundslund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stenderup FC the free kick. In the 47th minute, Aake Leidahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peer Raunkiær was the one to do the kick off. Micky Fonsmark kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Hugo Rovang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peer Raunkiær, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eberhardt Sparup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Rovang having to interfere. Peer Raunkiær might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Rovang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peer Raunkiær ran back to his position shaking his head. Kristian Kellblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kåre Frisenvang, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Peer Raunkiær received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hugo Rovang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Peer Raunkiær got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kåre Frisenvang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Rovang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peer Raunkiær in the 74th minute of the match. Kåre Frisenvang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Kellblom having to interfere. Rikki Ferdinand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Rovang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eberhardt Sparup in the 80th minute of the match. If Kåre Frisenvang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Lomark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, Hundslund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaspar Kuby to maneuver through the defense. Kåre Frisenvang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Kellblom having to interfere. If Rikki Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stenderup FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hundslund.
