Peer Raunkiær started the match with the kick off. Kristian Kellblom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kornelius Hegnsbo went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hundslund's Aake Leidahl got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peer Raunkiær received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Eskild Lerbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klaes Adelfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. The supporters of Hundslund booed when Varhede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egon Vendelsborg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hundslund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peer Raunkiær was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Hundslund booed when Varhede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Lynghøj didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eberhardt Sparup got free with Eskild Lerbo in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Hundslund players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Varhede were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronny Willeforte to strike the kick off in the second half. Eskild Lerbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peer Raunkiær, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Ronny Willeforte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Klaes Adelfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristian Kellblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Willeforte, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Ronny Willeforte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kristian Kellblom. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 69th minute Ronny Willeforte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Kellblom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Varhede getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ronny Willeforte hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Eberhardt Sparup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskild Lerbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eberhardt Sparup in the 74th minute of play forced Varhede's goalkeeper Eskild Lerbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Klaes Adelfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varhede's supporters rose to their feet, but Klaes Adelfeldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Kellblom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86th minute, Peer Raunkiær ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eskild Lerbo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Peer Raunkiær had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Eberhardt Sparup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskild Lerbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Varhede left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hundslund.
