Knut Myrtz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Chrestian Kaurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gandrup's zone, Nikolas Perriard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Norkjær came out of the goal and Nikolas Perriard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute William Brønsbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Norkjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knut Myrtz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If William Brønsbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute William Brønsbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Norkjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Franz Østvang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. William Brønsbjerg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Norkjær having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bastian Kurdahl made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolas Perriard in the 51st minute of play forced Gandrup's goalkeeper Robert Norkjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Brønsbjerg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Robert Norkjær skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Chrestian Kaurin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bastian Kurdahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Norkjær showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikolas Perriard in the 72nd minute of the match. Bastian Kurdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chrestian Kaurin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rudkøbing AC's Baltazar Anbech got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Matthias Malmbæk, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 86 played minutes Gandrup got a freekick which was hit by Nichlas Brinksholt. In the 90th match minute, Gandrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Kørlund to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Nikolas Perriard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Norkjær was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Rudkøbing AC's Jonathan Ketting was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robert Norkjær in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gandrup's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
