With a little luck, Pingvinbanden's Hagbart Brakker got control of the ball when Sam Berti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Pingvinbanden's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lucas Litske fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Axel Bækholt struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Reinhard Gartved didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pingvinbanden. Pingvinbanden's Hagbart Brakker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Pingvinbanden from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Haagerup SIK's Lucas Litske sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hagbart Brakker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucas Litske struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Hagbart Brakker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haagerup SIK. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Litske was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Reinhard Gartved successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anders Helge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reinhard Gartved read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd play minute Chris Digemose came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Reinhard Gartved. 0-2. Axel Bækholt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Pingvinbanden's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hagbart Brakker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sam Berti's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The supporters of Haagerup SIK booed when Pingvinbanden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Helge didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Axel Bækholt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes, Fritz Brundbjerg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haagerup SIK and the Pingvinbanden players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Haagerup SIK got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Brundbjerg. Reinhard Gartved showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Bækholt in the 98th minute of the match. The Pingvinbanden players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
