The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Rikki Sanver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Gammelholm was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Torsten Gammelholm stood somewhat misplaced when Thorbjørn Lundsmark came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. Thorbjørn Lundsmark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Torsten Gammelholm made a huge save. Harold Janting kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After 16 minutes of play, Yppenbjerg DIN SIK's Mickey Nolsø made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Hagensøe was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the game, Badstrup's Günther Skjoldmose nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Gammelholm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Rikki Sanver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Badstrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Villiam Bjerre to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Gammelholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikki Sanver, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Badstrup's Rikki Sanver got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Badstrup's Leo Grøndrup suffered a sore thigh after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jarl Katz charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarl Katz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Badstrup's Louis Bennich was substituted for Leo Grøndrup. Yppenbjerg DIN SIK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rikki Sanver 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. Rikki Sanver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Gammelholm having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rikki Sanver was the one to do the kick off. Christoffer Mardil scored 5-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Gammelholm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thorbjørn Lundsmark in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Gammelholm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Badstrup's Rikki Sanver got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute Rikki Sanver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Gammelholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torsten Gammelholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikki Sanver in the 62nd minute of play. Torsten Gammelholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikki Sanver in the 65th minute of the match. Badstrup's Ivan Hagensøe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickey Nolsø in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Rikki Sanver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Gammelholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rikki Sanver succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-1. In the 76th minute, Mickey Nolsø reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivan Hagensøe. The goal made the score 6-2. In the 79th minute, Günther Skjoldmose ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torsten Gammelholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2. Rikki Sanver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Thorbjørn Lundsmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsten Gammelholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikki Sanver in the 88th minute of play. When Badstrup's Thorbjørn Lundsmark in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yppenbjerg DIN SIK's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Taxholm in the 92nd minute of play forced Yppenbjerg DIN SIK's goalkeeper Torsten Gammelholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Thorbjørn Lundsmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Badstrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thorbjørn Lundsmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Badstrup's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
