Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Edward Bastoft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicko Gunnarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunther Sybrandt struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Nicko Gunnarstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ikast. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ikast's zone, Helge Snæver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aske Schødt came out of the goal and Helge Snæver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 minutes, Eyvin Bjelka made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ikast's Aske Schødt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 17 played minutes Stågerup got a freekick which was hit by Tøger Kyrval. After 20 played minutes FC Ikast got a freekick which was hit by Poul Ditmer. Poul Ditmer's late challenge caught a Stågerup's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Poul Ditmer helped the player get up and apologised. Eyvin Bjelka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Aske Schødt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunther Sybrandt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicko Gunnarstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Stågerup got a freekick which was hit by George Fersholt. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eyvin Bjelka to strike the kick off in the second half. Gunther Sybrandt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicko Gunnarstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Stågerup's zone, René Lyngbak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicko Gunnarstein came out of the goal and René Lyngbak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Bastofts short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Nicko Gunnarstein to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When FC Ikast's Gunther Sybrandt in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Stågerup's Tøger Kyrval got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes in the game Piet Sindbjerg after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Nicko Gunnarstein. A very good opportunity. The supporters of Stågerup booed when FC Ikast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toke Gurskov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eyvin Bjelka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aske Schødt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Stågerup's Eyvin Bjelka got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Ikast getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Poul Ditmer hit a great ball. Stågerup were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Ikast for a fine match.
