Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viktor Kronbæk started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Viktor Kronbæk made a precise shot to the right of Franz Kirup. Poulstrup FV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Poulstrup FV's Laurits Høyvald got a free kick in the 7th minute. Franz Kirup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Kronbæk in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute Erik Meldengaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jørgen Birksted saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes, Mejdal's Bernard Skagen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franz Kirup came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mejdal reached it. In the 19th minute, Amdi Gregart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jørgen Birksted was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Erik Meldengaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Viktor Kronbæk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poulstrup FV's Franz Kirup was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jørgen Birksted made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amdi Gregart in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Mejdal got a freekick which was hit by Thøger Flaunø. In the 35th minute, Amdi Gregart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jørgen Birksted was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 40 minutes into the match, Poulstrup FV's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Kronbæk came free, but Franz Kirup reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Meldengaard was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Laurits Høyvald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poulstrup FV and the Mejdal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Laurits Høyvald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mejdal's Jørgen Birksted played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Meldengaard in the 62nd minute of play. Viktor Kronbæk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Franz Kirup skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 66 played minutes Mejdal got a freekick which was hit by Thøger Flaunø. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amdi Gregart in the 67th minute of play forced Mejdal's goalkeeper Jørgen Birksted to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jørgen Birksted didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amdi Gregart went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Franz Kirup stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Kronbæk's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Viktor Kronbæk in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franz Kirup, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viktor Kronbæk in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franz Kirup prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 88 minutes into the match, Erik Meldengaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jørgen Birksted. Mejdal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Meldengaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 93rd match minute, Poulstrup FV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Meldengaard to maneuver through the defense. After 96 minutes of play, Mejdal's Viktor Kronbæk made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franz Kirup was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mejdal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
