Gynter Høvil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Detlef Stengaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Rettrup's Detlef Stengaard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When Nikolaj Urhammer fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rettrup's protests and gave Nikolaj Urhammer a yellow card for diving instead. Nikolaj Urhammer hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Sonni Ortuzar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jannik Morel in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Thorbjørn Finsterbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ejvind Eilberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonni Ortuzar having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Hjordkær SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Halvor Glist came free, but Gynter Høvil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thorbjørn Finsterbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rettrup's Detlef Stengaard got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Hjordkær SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Detlef Stengaard came free, but Gynter Høvil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Hjordkær SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Ildruf to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gynter Høvil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Detlef Stengaard in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorbjørn Finsterbach in the 55th minute of play forced Hjordkær SIK's goalkeeper Gynter Høvil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gynter Høvil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Detlef Stengaard in the 59th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Hjordkær SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Thorbjørn Finsterbach came free, but Gynter Høvil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jannik Morel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Sonni Ortuzar made a huge save. Detlef Stengaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gynter Høvil having to interfere. Thorbjørn Finsterbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gynter Høvil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rettrup booed when Hjordkær SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Anoia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes of play, Rettrup's Thorbjørn Finsterbach made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gynter Høvil was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Detlef Stengaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Alex Ildruf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Halvor Glist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gynter Høvil having to interfere.
