When Kristian Balling came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Kærende fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Balling couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the game, Leo Brandmose was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kærende's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paarup the free kick. A collision led to Kærende getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Leo Brandmose hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Ewald Bramby in the 25th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Valter Lerstrup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krestoffer Ravnbak, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Kærende's Leo Brandmose got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Leo Brandmose off the ground. A collision led to Kærende getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Leo Brandmose hit a great ball. Kristian Balling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max Stjerne struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Torleif Helmersgaard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paarup. Stephan Rundh hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Torleif Helmersgaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ewald Bramby in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Steen Veksebo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Nico Reeh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paarup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kærende the free kick. The supporters of Kærende booed when Paarup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Reeh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valter Lerstrup made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristian Balling in the 56th minute. Ewald Bramby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Torleif Helmersgaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Stephan Rundh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Stjerne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torleif Helmersgaard having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ewald Bramby in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torleif Helmersgaard saved Kærende from getting behind. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kærende! When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Max Stjerne sped through Kærende's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torleif Helmersgaard. Charlie Mannet charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charlie Mannet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Paarup getting a freekick after 81 minutes play.
