Bjerregårde FC's Herman Edvin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenney Rulykke in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Kenney Rulykke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaabensted's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenney Rulykke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Reiner Irby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bjerregårde FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vaabensted the free kick. 9 minutes into the game, one of Bjerregårde FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Herman Edvin went to the wrong direction when Povl Bækager was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Bjerregårde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kenney Rulykke came free, but Herman Edvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bjerregårde FC's Kevin Banghøj got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Henrik Hylle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dani Kongsmar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sune Elrum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dani Kongsmar having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Vaabensted's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Hylle came free, but Dani Kongsmar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Vaabensted getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bobby Mondorf hit a great ball. In the 27th minute, Gerner Stanstrup hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Bjerregårde FC's Mortimer Smedegård tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Henrik Hylle struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Dani Kongsmar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bjerregårde FC. Vaabensted's Dani Kongsmar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Hylle in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Henrik Hylle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurt Kurz might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herman Edvin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Kurz ran back to his position shaking his head. 48 minutes into the match, Bjerregårde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kenney Rulykke came free, but Herman Edvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to Vaabensted getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Teddy Ihlemann hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Hylle in the 58th minute of play forced Vaabensted's goalkeeper Dani Kongsmar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Banghøj during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Kevin Banghøj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bjerregårde FC's Henrik Hylle in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vaabensted's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd minute, Kurt Kurz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
