Gundtoft FC's Bendt Salberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Riewe in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Nik Møllergren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Tolstrup FV's goal looked a bit too open when Wagn Maes came free, but Asker Landsperg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Torsten Harndrup had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Asker Landsperg. Tolstrup FV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torsten Harndrup was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Gundtoft FC fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Gundtoft FC's Gerner Stremme looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bendt Salberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Falke in the 48th minute of the match. In the 48thth minute of the game Ture Falke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gundtoft FC's Bendt Salberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wagn Maes was the one to do the kick off. Milton Riewe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bendt Salberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristofer Germandsen in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Gundtoft FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gundtoft FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
