After having played for 22 minutes, Detlev Gnisser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vindekilde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Detlev Gnisser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruddi Erstling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Michael Keimling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Leonell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Kare got his second yellow card in the match during the 35th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Detlev Gnisser scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augustinus Almsted, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 44 played minutes Vindekilde got a freekick which was hit by Lasse Villeman. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Palle Søeballe to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Egebjerg FC's goalkeeper Augustinus Almsted, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Augustinus Almsted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Detlev Gnisser, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Kenneth Leonell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Egebjerg FC's Augustinus Almsted got control of the ball when Kenneth Leonell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Detlev Gnisser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustinus Almsted having to interfere. Augustinus Almsted showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Detlev Gnisser in the 96th minute of the match.
