They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cornelius Højbanke to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Kindstrup got a corner. Gamtofte's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jann Emsborg ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 58th match minute, Kindstrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Flytklint to maneuver through the defense. Gamtofte's Roland Ringsdal got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelius Højbanke got free with Romeo Loden in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cornelius Højbanke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Romeo Loden when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Ringsdal in the 85th minute of play forced Kindstrup's goalkeeper Berthel Daewaell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iver Dornø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kindstrup eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
