In the 3rd minute, Ulrich Gustafsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gammelstrup AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Michel Hutmacher hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Anton Rone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikki Bekkersgaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Vesterlund booed when Gammelstrup AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Ficke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vesterlund's Nikki Bekkersgaard got a free kick in the 15th minute. Vesterlund's Frits Linnig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Rangvid in the 18th minute of play. If Tim Rangvid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Rone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ejvind Bachevold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Ejvind Bachevold had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Rone. Gammelstrup AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ejvind Bachevold was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ulrich Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frits Linnig having to interfere. Nicolaus Nyengaard's late challenge caught a Gammelstrup AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolaus Nyengaard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute of the match Aksel Starlit shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frits Linnig showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Frits Linnig stood somewhat misplaced when Ulrich Gustafsson came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 37 minute. Frits Linnig was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Tim Rangvid capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tim Rangvid really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 44th match minute, Gammelstrup AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Brendholdt to maneuver through the defense. If Tim Rangvid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Rangvid to make the kick off. Frits Linnig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrich Gustafsson in the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Tim Rangvid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Frits Linnig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ejvind Bachevold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Rone having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Edward Miland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Hykkelbjerg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vesterlund's Frits Linnig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulrich Gustafsson in the 81st minute of play. When Tim Rangvid came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Gammelstrup AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Rangvid couldn't finish the play. Nikki Bekkersgaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 97th minute, Tim Rangvid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gammelstrup AC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
