Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tyrsting's Robert Dyboe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, Tyrsting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilmar Hesbjerg to maneuver through the defense. Eberhardt Fleissig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ken Rudolfsen's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Robert Dyboe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anker Drud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Fred Elbækgaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tyrsting fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Sørup's Andre Plessen got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Tyrsting's Robert Dyboe in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sørup's goalie prevented a goal. Sørup's Anker Drud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Elbækgaard in the 17th minute of play. If Ken Rudolfsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Elbækgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anker Drud having to interfere. When Karl Aarberg came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Sørup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Aarberg couldn't finish the play. Ken Rudolfsen struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Eberhardt Fleissig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sørup. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Dyboe in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anker Drud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robert Dyboe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anker Drud having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Fred Elbækgaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ken Rudolfsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberhardt Fleissig having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Ken Rudolfsen rounded Tyrsting's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Aarberg in the 53rd minute of play forced Tyrsting's goalkeeper Eberhardt Fleissig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes, Teddy Tullberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tyrsting and the Sørup players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Tyrsting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddy Tullberg to maneuver through the defense. Karl Aarberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eberhardt Fleissig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eberhardt Fleissig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ken Rudolfsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Tyrsting's Anker Drud threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robert Dyboe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 64th minute Ken Rudolfsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eberhardt Fleissig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Robert Dyboe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Elbækgaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Anker Drud made a huge save. In the 76th match minute, Sørup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steen Hassellund to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Sørup's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Dyboe came free, but Anker Drud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Sørup's goalkeeper Anker Drud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Elbækgaard. A collision led to Tyrsting getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Robert Dyboe hit a great ball. Karl Aarberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberhardt Fleissig having to interfere. Tyrsting's Eberhardt Fleissig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Aarberg in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ken Rudolfsen in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eberhardt Fleissig saved Tyrsting from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Tyrsting's zone, Ken Rudolfsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eberhardt Fleissig came out of the goal and Ken Rudolfsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Aarberg in the 91st minute of play forced Tyrsting's goalkeeper Eberhardt Fleissig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eberhardt Fleissig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Aarberg in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
