Sercan Paye's late challenge caught a Thorsen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sercan Paye helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to The Green Pride getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sercan Paye hit a great ball. With 30 minutes on the clock, Felice Savoia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 41st minute, Harald Helmershøj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Thorsen FC's goalkeeper Balder Walli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodor Værnkjær to make the kick off. The tension between the The Green Pride and the Thorsen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to The Green Pride getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Miki Kildeager hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Uffe Høitbjerg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Fogemann was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The Green Pride's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
