Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Willy Evensen made the kick off and thus started the match. Willy Evensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eskil Carlberg got free with Benni Bordum in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eskil Carlberg in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benni Bordum, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Willy Evensen came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Gødstrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willy Evensen couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karsten Cululejevic during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Karsten Cululejevic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morthen Ek's late challenge caught a Åbybro AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Morthen Ek helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Gødstrup got a freekick which was hit by Morthen Ek. After a defensive mix-up in Gødstrup's zone, Arvid Leuenhagen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Absalon Bækholm came out of the goal and Arvid Leuenhagen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torsten Tjeldflåt in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Absalon Bækholm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benni Bordum made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Eskil Carlberg sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the game, Terkel Vingtoft was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åbybro AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gødstrup the free kick. Terkel Vingtoft hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Eskil Carlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benni Bordum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eskil Carlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Arvid Leuenhagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Absalon Bækholm having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
A collision led to Gødstrup getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Terkel Broms hit a great ball. Torsten Tjeldflåt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 61st minute, Terkel Vingtoft got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 63 minutes of play, Gødstrup's Willy Evensen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benni Bordum was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arvid Leuenhagen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Tjeldflåt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Absalon Bækholm having to interfere. Arvid Leuenhagen came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Absalon Bækholm could save by the left post. Willy Evensen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eskil Carlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Åbybro AC's Arvid Leuenhagen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Absalon Bækholm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The supporters of Gødstrup booed when Åbybro AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janus Ømosegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willy Evensen in the 92nd minute of play forced Åbybro AC's goalkeeper Benni Bordum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benni Bordum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willy Evensen, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Torsten Tjeldflåt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Absalon Bækholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
