Jimmi Gundertofte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Hagenow having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aasted SIK's zone, Dennis Klebæk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bjørn Elvers came out of the goal and Dennis Klebæk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Vesternæs in the 23rd minute of play forced Aasted SIK's goalkeeper Bjørn Elvers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Niels Tarnæs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aasted SIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lyndby AC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Aasted SIK's Niels Tarnæs got a free kick in the 34th minute. Jesper Stavnstrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Edgar Hagenow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aasted SIK's Bjørn Elvers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Vesternæs in the 65th minute of play. When Dennis Klebæk came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Lyndby AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Klebæk couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmi Gundertofte in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Hagenow prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Aasted SIK booed when Lyndby AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Arnbøl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Jacob Vesternæs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amdi Christophersen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Hagenow made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesper Stavnstrup in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Aasted SIK's Espen Bratfeldt got a free kick in the 88th minute. A hard shot by Stephan Vejlager from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Edgar Hagenow's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 95 minutes into the match, Amdi Christophersen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edgar Hagenow, 0-1. Aasted SIK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
