The supporters of Tyrstrup booed when Viborg FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jess Lundedal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenn Klarsdorf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Højerup made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jess Lundedal in the 8th minute. Kenn Klarsdorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Emil Atzen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Atzen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kenn Klarsdorf went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Asker Sehring fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After the first half Tyrstrup were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Nålen to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Cristian Nålen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tyrstrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Nålen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tyrstrup's Ralf Dallerup suffered a concussion in the 56th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Miki Juhldal fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viborg FF's protests and gave Miki Juhldal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Viborg FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miki Juhldal to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Viborg FF getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Asker Sehring hit a great ball. Cristian Nålen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Atzen having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Kenn Klarsdorf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asker Sehring in the 71st minute of play forced Tyrstrup's goalkeeper Henry Højerup to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Kenn Klarsdorf got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 78 minutes into the match, Viborg FF's goal looked a bit too open when Kenn Klarsdorf came free, but Emil Atzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tyrstrup getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tim Skjoldsborg hit a great ball. Eskild Eglund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henry Højerup. Tyrstrup's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Kenn Klarsdorf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tyrstrup's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenn Klarsdorf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Atzen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Højerup showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jess Lundedal, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Henry Højerup showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asker Sehring in the 95th minute of the match.
