In the 8th minute, Eyvin Walther hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thue Rexeus struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Taus Bromark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Udby FV. Taus Bromark didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thue Rexeus went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, John Arklint notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hostrup's Taus Bromark. Taus Bromark was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, John Arklint managed to get in a good position for a shot. Udby FV's supporters rose to their feet, but John Arklint was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taus Bromark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 21 in the game by Detlef Holben from a close distance when the talented Svenning Klessing managed to make a qualified save. Udby FV's players were relieved. After 22 minutes, Bendt Holmud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Udby FV and the Hostrup players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Udby FV's Bendt Holmud got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A hard shot 26 in the game by Detlef Holben from a close distance when the talented Svenning Klessing managed to make a qualified save. Udby FV's players were relieved. Thue Rexeus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Taus Bromark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Johnny Førster mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hostrup and the Udby FV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hostrup's Johnny Førster got a free kick in the 31st minute. A collision led to Hostrup getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Johnny Førster hit a great ball. 36 minutes in the game, John Arklint dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience was convinced that Thue Rexeus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taus Bromark was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Udby FV's Svenning Klessing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Weesch in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Arklint to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Udby FV's John Arklint got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Detlef Holben managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hostrup's supporters rose to their feet, but Detlef Holben was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Svenning Klessing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the game, Udby FV's Thue Rexeus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taus Bromark made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Taus Bromark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Arklint in the 61st minute of play. Svenning Klessing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Weesch, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Edvard Weesch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svenning Klessing having to interfere. When Hostrup's Detlef Holben in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Udby FV's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hostrup's zone, Thue Rexeus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taus Bromark came out of the goal and Thue Rexeus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thue Rexeus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Taus Bromark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th of the match, John Arklint tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Taus Bromark got in the way and made a wonderful save. Taus Bromark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Arklint, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Eyvin Walther fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svenning Klessing having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Oskar Frydenholt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Udby FV and the Hostrup players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oskar Frydenholt kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Udby FV's goalkeeper Svenning Klessing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Bendt Holmud was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Edvard Weesch put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Svenning Klessing. Udby FV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
