Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicolai Janjua started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Joacim Normati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joacim Normati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Rikki Gillan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nicolai Janjua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rikki Gillan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's Nicolai Janjua sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rikki Gillan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Galatasaray SK booed when Villingerød was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terkild Ahlmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joacim Normati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rikki Gillan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Villingerød's Kenn Engsager sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregers Hinsby narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gregers Hinsby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Owe Walewska in the 19th minute of play. Owe Walewska's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregers Hinsby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Laus Kerschner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kim Sloots during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kim Sloots hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Villingerød's Ibrahim Selsø broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Kenn Engsager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenn Engsager struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Gregers Hinsby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villingerød. Laus Kerschner hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Laus Kerschner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rikki Gillan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Charley Kjørnæs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rikki Gillan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolai Janjua, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Nicolai Janjua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joacim Normati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joacim Normati in the 44th minute of play forced Villingerød's goalkeeper Rikki Gillan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Nicolai Janjua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolai Janjua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregers Hinsby made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Kenn Engsager sent off a good shot on target. If Nicolai Janjua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joacim Normati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Owe Walewska managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villingerød's supporters rose to their feet, but Owe Walewska was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregers Hinsby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Villingerød's zone, Joacim Normati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikki Gillan came out of the goal and Joacim Normati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenn Engsager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregers Hinsby having to interfere. The supporters of Villingerød booed when Galatasaray SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Sloots didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregers Hinsby made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Kenn Engsager sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 80 in the game by Kenn Engsager from a close distance when the talented Gregers Hinsby managed to make a qualified save. Galatasaray SK's players were relieved. Galatasaray SK's Gregers Hinsby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Galatasaray SK from getting a goal against them. Nicolai Janjua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rikki Gillan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rikki Gillan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolai Janjua in the 90th minute of play. Galatasaray SK's Gregers Hinsby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Owe Walewska in the 94th minute of play. Nicolai Janjua might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rikki Gillan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolai Janjua ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee ended the match the Galatasaray SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
