When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, Krogsgaarde FV's Romeo Strandmose got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Linus Castonier. After some careless play in the Avedøre SIK defense, Knut Klærksø kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Linus Castonier. The Avedøre SIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Linus Castonier should have stopped the shot. Hans Thouber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Holger Grenzer in the 29th minute of play. Jes Thørsing kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Daniel Stjerneborg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Linus Castonier having to make a save. When Imran Nilbak fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avedøre SIK's protests and gave Imran Nilbak a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Avedøre SIK's Imran Nilbak got a free kick in the 46th minute. When Jim Gjessing fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avedøre SIK's protests and gave Jim Gjessing a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 minutes Avedøre SIK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romeo Strandmose who took care of the corner kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Knut Klærksø to make the kick off. Linus Castonier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Stjerneborg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Knut Klærksø in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Linus Castonier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Avedøre SIK's Linus Castonier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Klærksø in the 64th minute of play. Jim Gjessing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lavritz Fridericia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Avedøre SIK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Aage Koldsøe hit a great ball. Knut Klærksø struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Linus Castonier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krogsgaarde FV. Knut Klærksø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Castonier having to interfere. Hans Thouber was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jim Gjessing showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 83 minute of play. Jim Gjessing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Thouber having to interfere. Hans Thouber was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Jim Gjessing capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jim Gjessing really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Knut Klærksø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
