Sigfrid Brasbøl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Remager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Denis Ranneries got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sigfrid Brasbøl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Steve Sanders went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Sigfrid Brasbøl made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Denis Ranneries sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Christopher Burgers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Ranneries fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigfrid Brasbøl having to interfere. If Edward Remager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Remager made a kick off. When Paulo Woo fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mammen FV's protests and gave Paulo Woo a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Remager in the 54th minute of play forced Mammen FV's goalkeeper Sigfrid Brasbøl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Denis Ranneries managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ellekilde's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Ranneries was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigfrid Brasbøl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute, Edward Remager left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ellekilde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of Mammen FV booed when Ellekilde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Burgers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leif Glisby scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ebbe Nordolf, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Mammen FV's Joacim Ogdenborg got a free kick in the 64th minute. Edward Remager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Ellekilde defense, Leif Glisby kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ebbe Nordolf. The Ellekilde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ebbe Nordolf should have stopped the shot. Ellekilde's Christopher Burgers got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Christopher Burgers off the ground. In the 86th minute, Denis Ranneries got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Leif Glisby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mammen FV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Glisby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ellekilde's Edward Remager got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rollo Ringland hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
