A collision led to Kristiansminde AC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Therkild Grige hit a great ball. David Vaagensø blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rudi Juelsen having to make a save. When Guldager SIK's David Vaagensø in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kristiansminde AC's goalie prevented a goal. When Nicky Oftelund fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kristiansminde AC's protests and gave Nicky Oftelund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Kristiansminde AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicky Oftelund to maneuver through the defense. Jimi Rosert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Søtje in the 15th minute of the match. Rudi Juelsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mogens Siezing in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Amin Banche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudi Juelsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Guldager SIK got a freekick which was hit by Mogens Siezing. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Wagn Osorio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jimi Rosert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Søtje, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Nicky Oftelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dirk Frydenboe, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rudi Juelsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Vaagensø in the 45th minute of play. David Vaagensø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rudi Juelsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Søtje stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Wagn Osorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimi Rosert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 67 in the game by Mogens Siezing from a close distance when the talented Rudi Juelsen managed to make a qualified save. Kristiansminde AC's players were relieved. When Laust Bølling fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kristiansminde AC's protests and gave Laust Bølling a yellow card for diving instead. Laust Bølling hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute David Vaagensø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudi Juelsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kristiansminde AC's Therkild Grige got a free kick in the 71st minute. Kristiansminde AC's Rudi Juelsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Kristiansminde AC from getting a goal against them. If David Vaagensø had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mogens Siezing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Rudi Juelsen made a huge save. Mogens Siezing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rudi Juelsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes, Guldager SIK's Dirk Frydenboe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rudi Juelsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guldager SIK reached it. Mogens Siezing took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rudi Juelsen. Rudi Juelsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 94 minutes into the match, Kristiansminde AC's goalkeeper Rudi Juelsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mogens Siezing. 96 minutes into the game, Nikolas Glædesdahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guldager SIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kristiansminde AC the free kick. Nikolas Glædesdahl hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Guldager SIK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
