Lavritz Nørsten might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jørg Esphavn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lavritz Nørsten ran back to his position shaking his head. If Walther Kolos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Gunvald Brolykke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kurd Marder, 1-0. Karsten Glader's late challenge caught a Brovad FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karsten Glader helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Squirrel Nut Zippers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karsten Glader to maneuver through the defense. Gunvald Brolykke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Brovad FC booed when Squirrel Nut Zippers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isak Thamsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Squirrel Nut Zippers's Walther Kolos got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brovad FC's Sivart Lønnee pulled a muscle in his leg after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 26th minute, one of Squirrel Nut Zippers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Squirrel Nut Zippers. In the 35th minute, Bert Fardan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match Pedro Bertram shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jørg Esphavn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Squirrel Nut Zippers's Balthazar Utzen got a free kick in the 40th minute. Gunvald Brolykke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurd Marder having to interfere. In the 45th minute Gunvald Brolykke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurd Marder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Walther Kolos made the kick off in the second half. Eyvin Christophersen charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eyvin Christophersen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Gnatt during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ingvar Gnatt kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Jørg Esphavn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walther Kolos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 67 minute of play. In the 76th minute, Roald Snøder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Squirrel Nut Zippers's zone, Gunvald Brolykke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurd Marder came out of the goal and Gunvald Brolykke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes, Lavritz Nørsten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Squirrel Nut Zippers and the Brovad FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brovad FC's Gunvald Brolykke got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Brovad FC's Moritz Aasmul got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Nikolas Hildingberg hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Pedro Bertram sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Brovad FC's Jørg Esphavn didn't even have to move. Brovad FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
