After a defensive mix-up in Vedsted FC's zone, Sivart Lønnee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicklas Sachsenskjold came out of the goal and Sivart Lønnee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute Gunvald Brolykke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicklas Sachsenskjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sivart Lønnee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brovad FC's Jørg Esphavn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Brovad FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolas Hildingberg in the 47th minute of play forced Vedsted FC's goalkeeper Nicklas Sachsenskjold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kent Krabholm to make the kick off. Gunvald Brolykke might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicklas Sachsenskjold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gunvald Brolykke ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Sivart Lønnee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicklas Sachsenskjold was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Gunvald Brolykke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicklas Sachsenskjold having to interfere. If Sivart Lønnee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Brovad FC's Gunvald Brolykke slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicklas Sachsenskjold. That made the score 0-5 after 90 minutes of play. If Gunvald Brolykke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Brovad FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vedsted FC.
