If Bernard Rafn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vagn Bødtger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunvald Buchner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunvald Buchner in the 21st minute of play forced Aaløse SIK's goalkeeper Vagn Bødtger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aaløse SIK's zone, Bernard Rafn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vagn Bødtger came out of the goal and Bernard Rafn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Frits Kjærlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Aaløse SIK got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Engvald. When Bernard Rafn came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Gundsø FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Rafn couldn't finish the play. Bernard Rafn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vagn Bødtger having to interfere. If Gunvald Buchner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Frits Kjærlund made the kick off in the second half. If Frits Kjærlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Stuart Engvald could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Tommy Anhalzer however easily saved by the left post. Gunvald Buchner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vagn Bødtger having to interfere. Bernard Rafn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernard Rafn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vagn Bødtger came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Gundsø FC's Gunvald Buchner. But to his dismay, Gunvald Buchner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Bernard Rafn took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vagn Bødtger. Vagn Bødtger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 75 minutes into the game, Gundsø FC's Bernard Rafn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vagn Bødtger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 79 minutes into the game, Bernard Rafn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Vagn Bødtger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vagn Bødtger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Rafn in the 85th minute of play. Frits Kjærlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Anhalzer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frits Kjærlund in the 92nd minute of play forced Gundsø FC's goalkeeper Tommy Anhalzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gundsø FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aaløse SIK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
