To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Goodfire GF's Moses Talbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morten Bjørkmar in the 13th minute of play. Ebbe Lilledal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ebbe Lilledal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moses Talbo having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Johannes Olmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Andre Hallind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the match, Ebbe Lilledal notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Goodfire GF's Moses Talbo. Moses Talbo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute of the match, Ebbe Lilledal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Moses Talbo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Moses Talbo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Morten Bjørkmar's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Morten Bjørkmar to strike the kick off in the second half. Kjær SIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Andre Hallind scored to the left of an out of position Henrik Frejlev, making the score, 2-1. Andre Hallind's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrik Frejlev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Johannes Olmer was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Goodfire GF's Johannes Olmer got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ebbe Lilledal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moses Talbo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. If Morten Bjørkmar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moses Talbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morten Bjørkmar, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
