Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tue Hidalgo got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Sønderby AC's Daniel Pordan got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sønderby AC's zone, Helmuth Drotner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berndt Hørnum came out of the goal and Helmuth Drotner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berndt Hørnum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Aver in the 7th minute of play. If Helmuth Drotner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Owe Fontess kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Dennis Aver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Søborg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Aver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tue Hidalgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mads Teitsma in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hagbart Essing saved Søborg FC from getting behind. In the 19th minute, Mads Teitsma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Tue Hidalgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hagbart Essing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mads Teitsma took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hagbart Essing. Hagbart Essing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sønderby AC's zone, Helmuth Drotner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sønderby AC's Berndt Hørnum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Aver in the 26th minute of play. Hagbart Essing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mads Teitsma in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mads Teitsma in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hagbart Essing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sønderby AC's Tue Hidalgo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Søborg FC's Hagbart Essing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tue Hidalgo in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Tue Hidalgo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute Tue Hidalgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hagbart Essing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dennis Aver to make the kick off. Kasper Østersø's late challenge caught a Sønderby AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasper Østersø helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Sønderby AC. Victor Rondell stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hagbart Essing. 0-2. The referee gave Søborg FC a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pierre Formark, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sønderby AC's Berndt Hørnum. 1-2. Helmuth Drotner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Berndt Hørnum having to make a save. 73 minutes into the match, Sønderby AC's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Aver came free, but Berndt Hørnum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helmuth Drotner in the 76th minute of play forced Sønderby AC's goalkeeper Berndt Hørnum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Søborg FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Terkil Gudmundarson hit a great ball. Helmuth Drotner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berndt Hørnum having to interfere. Daniel Pordan hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Berndt Hørnum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helmuth Drotner in the 85th minute of play. Tue Hidalgo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hagbart Essing having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Owe Fontess in the 97th minute of play forced Søborg FC's goalkeeper Hagbart Essing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sønderby AC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
