Mads Teitsma who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Bernhardt Alhage when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Tue Hidalgo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sønderby AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tue Hidalgo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernhardt Alhage breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tue Hidalgo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bernhardt Alhage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tue Hidalgo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tue Hidalgo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bernhardt Alhage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernhardt Alhage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tue Hidalgo in the 42nd minute of the match. Tue Hidalgo took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernhardt Alhage. Bernhardt Alhage dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Tue Hidalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Sønderby AC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Owe Fontess hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Stephan Ochsner sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sønderby AC's Berndt Hørnum didn't even have to move. Mattias Linnau charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattias Linnau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berndt Hørnum made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Reinar Busch sent off a good shot on target. Bernhardt Alhage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mads Teitsma in the 68th minute of the match. Berndt Hørnum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walentin Giøng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernhardt Alhage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mads Teitsma, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Reinar Busch struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Berndt Hørnum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballerup Boldklub. Berndt Hørnum was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Valther Aahøj. Janich Bahner's late challenge caught a Sønderby AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Janich Bahner helped the player get up and apologised. Janich Bahner kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Ballerup Boldklub's goal looked a bit too open when Tue Hidalgo came free, but Bernhardt Alhage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sønderby AC booed when Ballerup Boldklub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janich Bahner didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mads Teitsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Ballerup Boldklub's goal looked a bit too open when Mads Teitsma came free, but Bernhardt Alhage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Mads Teitsma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernhardt Alhage. Ballerup Boldklub's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mads Teitsma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a little luck, Sønderby AC's Berndt Hørnum got control of the ball when Reinar Busch tried to sneak it across the goal line.
