The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Freddy Bregentvold's late challenge caught a Gummesmark AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Bregentvold helped the player get up and apologised. Claes Mytting made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eyvin Pallisbeck in the 11th minute. Claes Mytting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Hjenner in the 13th minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Harry Hjenner elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kattebjerg AC's Claes Mytting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Hjenner in the 19th minute of play. Lukas Mühlenfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Olle Hanel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Mytting showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eyvin Pallisbeck in the 27th minute of play forced Kattebjerg AC's goalkeeper Claes Mytting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28th play minutes Wolfgang Revad shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Svenne Agerlyng and just under the crossbar into goal. Svenne Agerlyng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amund Joel went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Amund Joel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svenne Agerlyng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. If Amund Joel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amund Joel scored 1-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Svenne Agerlyng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harry Hjenner was the one to do the kick off. Claes Mytting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eyvin Pallisbeck in the 56th minute of play. Wolfgang Revad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eyvin Pallisbeck in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claes Mytting saved Kattebjerg AC from getting behind. If Eyvin Pallisbeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddy Bregentvold hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Hjenner in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Mytting prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eyvin Pallisbeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Mytting showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eyvin Pallisbeck in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Eyvin Pallisbeck made a precise shot to the right of Claes Mytting. Kattebjerg AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. When Eyvin Pallisbeck got free in front of the goal in the 85th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Claes Mytting was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kattebjerg AC's Pierre Frydendahl got a free kick in the 86th minute. Günther Pasbo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kattebjerg AC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Lukas Mühlenfeldt hit a great ball. Harry Hjenner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Mytting having to interfere. In the 100th match minute, Kattebjerg AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Bregentvold to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gummesmark AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kattebjerg AC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
