After 34 minutes, Kurt Sneding mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hømvejle and the Skårup SIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Hømvejle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Sneding to maneuver through the defense. If Albinus Lykkestrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th play minute Ricard Heintzelmann came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Micael Danbie. 1-0. With a little luck, Hømvejle's Micael Danbie got control of the ball when Ricard Heintzelmann tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The wind increased when Walter Thidex made the kick off in the second half. Micael Danbie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricard Heintzelmann in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 61st minute Ricard Heintzelmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micael Danbie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Walter Thidex kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Halfdan Lolholm. That made the score 1-1 in the 63 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niels Alvin during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ricard Heintzelmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricard Heintzelmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75thth minute of the game Albinus Lykkestrand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hømvejle's Micael Danbie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albinus Lykkestrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Micael Danbie having to interfere. Melkior Gradman hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Ricard Heintzelmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricard Heintzelmann struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Micael Danbie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skårup SIK. Willy Krummel charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willy Krummel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Hømvejle got a freekick which was hit by Willy Krummel. Albinus Lykkestrand scored 2-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Micael Danbie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hømvejle's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
