Daniel Engler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grund. Micky Roskjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Frøhne, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Johnni Blak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 16 minutes, Johnni Blak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnni Blak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Engler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Nilausen in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Grund's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Frøhne came free, but Micky Roskjær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Endeslev FV's Arvid Frøhne got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Grund's zone, Arvid Frøhne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Micky Roskjær came out of the goal and Arvid Frøhne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnni Blak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Engler having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eskild Janis made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Arvid Frøhne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Endeslev FV's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvid Frøhne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Micky Roskjær breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Arvid Frøhne fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Micky Roskjær, passed just outside the right post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Grund fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Eskild Janis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Micky Roskjær tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tomas Veitland fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Endeslev FV's protests and gave Tomas Veitland a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Endeslev FV got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Veitland. Eskild Janis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
