Rudi Appelquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerhardt Neresøe in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute FC WBKelso were awarded a corner. Niko Kjederup went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on FC WBKelso's corner Niko Kjederup fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rudi Appelquist quite easily take care of the ball. Gerhardt Neresøe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudi Appelquist having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Himlingøje's Ricky Blicher got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The supporters of FC WBKelso booed when Himlingøje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Simmelsgaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sigvart Serner to make the kick off. Hemming Mervild showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvart Serner, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the FC WBKelso defense, Esben Trenter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hemming Mervild. The FC WBKelso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hemming Mervild should have stopped the shot. The supporters of FC WBKelso booed when Himlingøje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Kunert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 minutes, Mattias Hammerholt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Himlingøje and the FC WBKelso players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Himlingøje got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Hammerholt. Hemming Mervild took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esben Trenter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudi Appelquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerhardt Neresøe's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When Michel Bastiansen fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Himlingøje's protests and gave Michel Bastiansen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Himlingøje's Michel Bastiansen got a free kick in the 88th minute.
