Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lennarth Bjerrehuus started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Lennarth Bjerrehuus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fjordager IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 9 minutes, Eckhardt Blomvig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fjordager IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eckhardt Blomvig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ralf Abing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morthen Adelfest made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Theisen in the 20th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Fjordager IF got a freekick which was hit by Valder Büsing. If Mohamed Theisen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf Abing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morthen Adelfest having to interfere. Mohamed Theisen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Morthen Adelfest tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralf Abing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennarth Bjerrehuus in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Piet Herstal saved Langholm from getting behind. The Langholm players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fjordager IF were winning 0-1.

After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Langholm! 0-2 came through a penalty shot after 55 played minutes, when Fjordager IF:s Ewald Finninge calmly waited for Langholm:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Eckhardt Blomvig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piet Herstal having to interfere. Gunnar Ledin's late challenge caught a Langholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Amdi Kirsgaard came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Langholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amdi Kirsgaard couldn't finish the play. Langholm's Mohamed Theisen got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Mohamed Theisen sped through Fjordager IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Morthen Adelfest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenn Høffding during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fjordager IF's Kenn Høffding got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Mohamed Theisen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morthen Adelfest having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Ralf Abing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fjordager IF's Morthen Adelfest was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Morthen Adelfest made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Abing in the 92nd minute of play. Ralf Abing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morthen Adelfest showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Abing, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Mohamed Theisen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Langholm manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Fjordager IF to win.
