After 6 played minutes Ørholm SIK got a freekick which was hit by Buster Stefanski. Jegstrup were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Ørholm SIK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bastian Skarregaard took the corner. The corner led Jegstrup's Bastian Skarregaard to fire away a dangerous shot which John Unold despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leif Kierkgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Unold having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gabriel Stræde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ørholm SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Stræde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allan Cordel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Jes Logan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jegstrup's Allan Cordel. Allan Cordel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. John Unold made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Sigismund Scharnberg sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Jegstrup's goal looked a bit too open when Jes Logan came free, but Allan Cordel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigismund Scharnberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Unold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asfred Dalbjerg made a kick off. Sigismund Scharnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Asfred Dalbjerg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bastian Skarregaard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for John Unold. Ørholm SIK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Jegstrup's Asfred Dalbjerg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Unold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Asfred Dalbjerg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Unold having to interfere. The supporters of Ørholm SIK booed when Jegstrup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Kierkgaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sigismund Scharnberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jegstrup's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigismund Scharnberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. John Unold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigismund Scharnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. John Unold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute Sigismund Scharnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Unold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ørholm SIK's zone, Asfred Dalbjerg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Unold came out of the goal and Asfred Dalbjerg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
