Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bjarne Donsborg got the match started through his kick off. Nicky Mindstrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Rune Pilhøj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Brænderup's Peder Vinjebo in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aalsrode FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjarne Donsborg in the 15th minute of play forced Brænderup's goalkeeper Niki Tømming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Pilhøj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Vinjebo in the 17th minute of play. If Peder Vinjebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Brænderup's Peder Vinjebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Pilhøj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicky Mindstrup succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 25th playminute. Brænderup's Nicky Mindstrup got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Felix Mirner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peder Vinjebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rune Pilhøj. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peder Vinjebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Peder Vinjebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rune Pilhøj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Lapholm hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes, Aalsrode FC's Theodor Hartbøl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Niki Tømming came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aalsrode FC reached it. In the 47th minute, Clas Drewes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peder Vinjebo made a kick off. When Clas Drewes fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aalsrode FC's protests and gave Clas Drewes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Brænderup booed when Aalsrode FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clas Drewes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicky Mindstrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aalsrode FC's goalkeeper Rune Pilhøj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 played minutes Aalsrode FC got a freekick which was hit by Kenney Krelskov. Rune Pilhøj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky Mindstrup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Pilhøj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Vinjebo in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Rudy Lillienborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niki Tømming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjarne Donsborg in the 70th minute of play. Peder Vinjebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Pilhøj having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Peder Vinjebo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Aalsrode FC's Rune Pilhøj tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Aalsrode FC's Walter Arnwall got a free kick in the 79th minute. Nicky Mindstrup struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Rune Pilhøj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brænderup. 86 minutes into the game, Mickey Frostgaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aalsrode FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brænderup the free kick. In the 86th minute, Mickey Frostgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
