Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Venge FV's Rickard Ceson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rickard Ceson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Niels Holbøll charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niels Holbøll the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aalsrode FC's Niels Holbøll got a free kick in the 5th minute. Venge FV's Walther Bredøl couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Aalsrode FC. After 8 played minutes Aalsrode FC got a freekick which was hit by Niels Holbøll. Rune Pilhøj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Ceson in the 10th minute of play. Theodor Hartbøl was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, one of Aalsrode FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aalsrode FC. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Venge FV. Walther Bredøl stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rune Pilhøj. 0-1. Rune Pilhøj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Ceson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Rickard Ceson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Pilhøj having to interfere. Nicky Hørnum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rune Pilhøj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rune Pilhøj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Ceson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Pilhøj came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Venge FV's Nicky Hørnum. But to his dismay, Nicky Hørnum quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 37th minute, Bjarne Donsborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute of the match Walther Bredøl sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rune Pilhøj skillfully saved the ball. Rasmus Langbak kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Rune Pilhøj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Ceson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bjarne Donsborg to strike the kick off in the second half. When Mickey Frostgaard fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aalsrode FC's protests and gave Mickey Frostgaard a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Mickey Frostgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venge FV were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Aalsrode FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walther Bredøl took the corner. The corner led Venge FV's Walther Bredøl to fire away a dangerous shot which Rune Pilhøj despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nicky Hørnums short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Rune Pilhøj to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rune Pilhøj made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicky Hørnum in the 67th minute. Aalsrode FC's Rune Pilhøj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Ceson in the 69th minute of play. Nicky Hørnum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Pilhøj having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Aalsrode FC's goalkeeper Rune Pilhøj had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicky Hørnum. Rune Pilhøj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickard Ceson in the 76th minute of the match. Nicky Hørnum came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rune Pilhøj could save by the left post. Carsten Brochorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mickey Frostgaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mickey Frostgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
