Peder Vinjebo started the match with the kick off. Rickard Ceson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Niki Tømming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Hørnum, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the Brænderup defense, Nicky Hørnum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niki Tømming. The Brænderup fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niki Tømming should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Brænderup booed when Venge FV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thue Nihøj didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Rickard Ceson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niki Tømming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niki Tømming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Hørnum in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rickard Ceson to strike the kick off in the second half. Rickard Ceson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venge FV's Carsten Brochorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Vinjebo in the 58th minute of play. Carsten Brochorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky Mindstrup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carsten Brochorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Mindstrup, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Donald Skantz put in a rough tackle. Carsten Brochorst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peder Vinjebo in the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venge FV's zone, Peder Vinjebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carsten Brochorst came out of the goal and Peder Vinjebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venge FV's Carsten Brochorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Mindstrup in the 73rd minute of play. After 78 played minutes, Brænderup's Rudy Lillienborg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carsten Brochorst came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brænderup reached it. After a rather tough play, Venge FV's Reinhardt Meinfeldt got a free kick in the 85th minute. Peder Vinjebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Reinhardt Meinfeldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venge FV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brænderup the free kick. Reinhardt Meinfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Felix Mirner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brænderup were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venge FV for a fine match.
