Reinhardt Thornton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Tjawst, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Tjawst in the 7th minute of play forced Vellinge's goalkeeper Reinhardt Thornton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harald Hegh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Pedro Kahler made a huge save. If Klaus Thorkenholdt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivar Tjawst in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reinhardt Thornton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Kahler made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Harald Hegh sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Kahler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Hegh in the 25th minute. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Klaus Thorkenholdt sped through Vellinge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reinhardt Thornton. A collision led to Vellinge getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Sophus Sønderbek hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Langballe SIK's Paw Volsdorf broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thorkil Jade's late challenge caught a Langballe SIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thorkil Jade helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vellinge's Thorkil Jade got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute Ivar Tjawst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinhardt Thornton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harald Hegh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mathies Aabank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Kahler having to interfere. Reinhardt Thornton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaus Thorkenholdt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathies Aabank to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jes Falsdorf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vellinge's Harald Hegh got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Kahler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harald Hegh's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Langballe SIK's Pedro Kahler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathies Aabank in the 60th minute of play. Klaus Thorkenholdt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhardt Thornton having to interfere. Klaus Thorkenholdt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reinhardt Thornton having to make a save. Ivar Tjawst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhardt Thornton having to interfere. When Thorkil Jade was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. In the 77th minute, Thorkil Jade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Tjawst in the 78th minute of play forced Vellinge's goalkeeper Reinhardt Thornton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivar Tjawst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhardt Thornton having to interfere. Ivar Tjawst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Klaus Thorkenholdt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Langballe SIK's supporters rose to their feet, but Klaus Thorkenholdt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinhardt Thornton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Klaus Thorkenholdt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhardt Thornton having to interfere. Ivar Tjawst might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reinhardt Thornton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivar Tjawst ran back to his position shaking his head. Klaus Thorkenholdt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reinhardt Thornton having to make a save. Harald Hegh struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Pedro Kahler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vellinge. When the match was over Langballe SIK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vellinge throughout the match.
