Asmind Duncan might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Troels Ahltoft. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asmind Duncan ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the match, Åbyen's goalkeeper Troels Ahltoft had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karlo Ihmels. If Wiktor Jungsted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melkior Røgelhede charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melkior Røgelhede the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Åbyen! In the 20th minute of the match Fredrik Ejgaard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Troels Ahltoft showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Karlo Ihmels in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Troels Ahltoft, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anders Engdahl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boris Wolder having to make a save. Karlo Ihmels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Engdahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Boris Wolder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anker Helbing during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Mørke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anker Helbing to maneuver through the defense. If Anders Engdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Wolder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Engdahl in the 42nd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asmind Duncan made a kick off. Åbyen's Richardo Egebirk got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thue Tygel charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thue Tygel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 58 minutes in the game Milton Rogild got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. In the 60th minute, Karlo Ihmels made a precise shot to the right of Troels Ahltoft. Åbyen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 63rd minute, Asmind Duncan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Al Vibjerg from long distance, 69 minutes into the match, got Boris Wolder's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Anders Engdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Wolder having to interfere. If Anders Engdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiktor Jungsted got free with Boris Wolder in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wiktor Jungsted struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Boris Wolder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åbyen. 81 minutes into the game, Bastian Tiedgen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mørke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åbyen the free kick. The supporters of Åbyen booed when Mørke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastian Tiedgen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Åbyen's goal looked a bit too open when Karlo Ihmels came free, but Troels Ahltoft reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, Mørke's Asmind Duncan made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Troels Ahltoft was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karlo Ihmels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Troels Ahltoft having to interfere. The Mørke support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
