Louis Iberst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eskild Heefelt in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rainer Scharffenberg saved Østerby from getting behind. Rainer Scharffenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eskild Heefelt in the 8th minute of play. Rainer Scharffenberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samson Luytkis went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rainer Scharffenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eskild Heefelt's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elo Teinhart during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elo Teinhart hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Østerby's Gregorius Mertov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niklas Kranøe. Niklas Kranøe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Holger Ørud hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Samson Luytkis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samson Luytkis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rainer Scharffenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Elo Teinhart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eskild Heefelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rainer Scharffenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthon Orm during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Høllund AC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anthon Orm hit a great ball. In the 39th match minute, Høllund AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fillip Snidtker to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Østerby getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gustaf Falkenhard hit a great ball. The corner ended in Ernest Bjarnov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Østerby's Rainer Scharffenberg did a great save. Rainer Scharffenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskild Heefelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samson Luytkis to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Østerby booed when Høllund AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Bjarnov didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorius Mertov in the 56th minute of play forced Høllund AC's goalkeeper Niklas Kranøe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorius Mertov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 minutes of play, Østerby's Peter Stenvald made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niklas Kranøe was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Samson Luytkis put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rainer Scharffenberg. 71 minutes into the match, Østerby's Peter Stenvald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niklas Kranøe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Høllund AC's Eskild Heefelt got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregorius Mertov might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niklas Kranøe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorius Mertov ran back to his position shaking his head. Niklas Kranøe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Stenvald, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Peter Stenvald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Kranøe having to interfere. Harold Flemmert hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Gregorius Mertov came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Østerby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorius Mertov couldn't finish the play. Peter Stenvald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorius Mertov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Kranøe having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Nicholas Malskær cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Niklas Kranøe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Østerby getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Holger Ørud hit a great ball. Eskild Heefelt struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Rainer Scharffenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Høllund AC.
