The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Cuber got free with Janich Holking in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Nyby's Helmer Hagelstam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Asmund Dømel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, Nyby's goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Julku came free, but Janich Holking reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Micky Djerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asmund Dømel having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Sonny Berendt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asmund Dømel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Julku in the 86th minute of play forced Nyby's goalkeeper Janich Holking to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Prause sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
