After having played for 11 minutes, Lavritz Karstenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rærup AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lavritz Karstenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Didrik Lyfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Rærup AC's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Magwentshu came free, but Fillip Jahreis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Max Kjempff struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Fillip Jahreis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gesing. Max Kjempff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Didrik Lyfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerhart Thinesen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jimmi Ebbesø fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rærup AC's protests and gave Jimmi Ebbesø a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute Gesing were awarded a corner. Tue Korsved went to the cornerflag to take it. Fillip Jahreis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Kjempff, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 41st minute, Max Kjempff made a precise shot to the right of Fillip Jahreis. Rærup AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The supporters of Gesing booed when Rærup AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Kløft didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rærup AC's zone, Tue Korsved stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fillip Jahreis came out of the goal and Tue Korsved tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Michael Bondtoft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 92 minutes, Max Kjempff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gesing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Kjempff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gesing eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
